An outstanding, full-time opening has become available for a Medical Director (Emergency Veterinarian) in the Bradenton, FL area. This position is with a well-established veterinary emergency hospital seeking a strong clinical leader to partner with the Practice Manager in driving exceptional patient care, team development, and operational success. All candidates MUST have the following experience to qualify for consideration:

·        Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited university is REQUIRED

·        Eligible for or currently licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the State of Florida is REQUIRED

·        2+ years of clinical veterinary experience, preferably in a high-volume Emergency or Urgent Care environment, is REQUIRED

·        Experience receiving, diagnosing, and managing emergency veterinary cases is REQUIRED

·        Previous Medical Director, Lead Veterinarian, or other leadership experience is PREFERRED

·        Experience with Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS), emergency surgery, and general surgical procedures is PREFERRED
